Hi, my name is Dr Anindita Basu. I am a veterinarian and have been in practice for 5+ years now. I was born and raised in the city of Kolkata and completed my veterinary studies from Massey University, New Zealand. I have had the pleasure of working in several parts of India and New Zealand, which has given me broad clinical case experience.
I am now expanding my services to include online consultations. This allows me to extend timely treatment and advice to pet parents. My approach to veterinary care is grounded in ethics, appropriate diagnostic workup, and evidence-based medicine. I adhere to internationally recognised standards, and your pet's welfare and safety is my priority. This website has been thoughtfully created with the health of your lovely pets in mind.
Professionally, I have always remained partial to soft tissue surgery, radiology, preventive health, wound care, paediatrics, and internal medicine. And on a personal level, I love to travel, go for runs, draw, and play pickleball and chess. I'm a big fan of coffee, croissants and fiction books
